During the COVID-19 pandemic, I'm creating a series of videos for my school students so that they can be revising some of the technical work we've done since January. This now includes work for singers and woodwind players. Although it's aimed at my schools students, there are things here for everyone. You can find my channel here.
For those still learning to read music, here's a quick codebreaking summary. It's aimed at flute players (hence the range of notes) but it will give any player or singer a head start at reading music. You can download it here.
A great resource from Classic FM and ABRSM. Enter your school as "Virtual School" and enjoy all sorts of information and activities about 100 pieces of Classical music. You can register here.
Find new tunes
There are lots of sites offering new tunes to try. Here are three of my favourite:
Here's a link to my blog - check the one about my favourite music apps - which are your favourites?
Let me know if there's something you'd like to see or know more about and I'll add it to the list! Leave me a message on my Facebook page (please don't send private messages if you are under 18, unless they come from a parent or guardian)
Risk assessment - face to face teaching
For my private students thinking of resuming face to face lessons, you can find my risk assessment here. Please make sure you complete a check-in form before your lesson or you will not be allowed into the music room!
